AUGUSTA — Lithgow Public Library will hold a pie sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, which is National Pie Day. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Capital Campaign to expand and renovate the library.

A variety of homemade pies baked by library staff and volunteers, including apple, pumpkin, pecan, chocolate cream and blueberry, will be on sale.

“Nothing tastes better than a delicious slice of homemade pie,” said Adult Services Aide Angelia Dow-Bernier. “People can feel good about supporting the library Capital Campaign and satisfy their sweet tooth at the same time.”

Lithgow Library is at 45 Winthrop St. For more information, call the library at 626-2415 or visit www.lithgow.lib.me.us.
