PARIS — Delta Kappa Gamma, the society of women educators, helps recognize women in education and promote professional growth.

The Zeta Chapter of DKG will award a $300 grant to one recipient this spring.

Applicants must be women who have completed their freshman year of college, are going into the field of education and come from a town in one of the following school units: RSU 17, MSAD 17, RSU 10, RSU 44 or MSAD44.

Applicants should submit a one-page letter telling about their educational background, future plans and why they feel they would be a good choice to receive this grant.

The deadline for the letters of application is Saturday, March 1.
