AUBURN — Meditation Mondays will be held on Mondays in February at the Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St.

Adam Hill, who trained at the Alternative Medicine Program at Everglades University in Florida, will lead the new meditation program from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays in February.

Hill will discuss the clinically proven benefits of transcendental meditation as well as other meditative techniques.

Quotes and proverbs that give insight into the nature of meditation will be shared in order to deepen the conceptual understanding of how to meditate and why we should practice daily.

He will also offer a brief opportunity to experience meditation benefits first hand.

The free program will take place in the Androscoggin Community Room. For more information on adult programs at the Auburn Public Library, visit the event page at http://aplevents.weebly.com/.
