FARMINGTON — A local man was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of trafficking an illegal drug.
Shane Dunn, 23, was stopped on the Wilton Road by Detective Stephen Charles of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.
Dunn attempted to sell to someone who reported it to Franklin County detectives, Nichols said. They set up a sting operation and arrested Dunn, he said.
Dunn was released from the Franklin County Detention Center later Wednesday on $150 cash bail with a court appearance scheduled for March 12.
