SOUTH PARIS — Ethel C. Labbe, 91, of South Paris, died Thursday, Jan. 30, at Market Square Health Care Center.
She was born in Auburn on Oct. 16, 1922, the daughter of Louis and Alvine Ouellete Foisy. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1941. Ethel worked at local bakeries and shoe shops, and years ago at the bowling alley in Norway.
She is survived by her son, Ernest Labbe III, of Oxford; grandchildren, Stephanie Labbe of Bangor, David Snead of Oxford, Michele Corbett and husband, Cory, of South Paris, Candice Jack and husband, Ricki, of Oxford, Jason Labbe and wife, Lisa, of Otisfield and James Labbe and significant other, Crystal Sidel, of South Paris; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Labbe, in 1998.
