Wednesday
LEWISTON: L/A Film Forum’s documentary showing, “Betting the Farm,” 6 p.m. Feb. 5, Callahan Hall at Lewiston Public Library. The film is about a group of Maine dairy farmers who, when dropped by a national milk company, confront losing their farms. They launched their own milk company. Farmers include Vaughn Chase, Richard Lary and Aaron Bell. Short discussion follows 84-minute film. Free.

LEWISTON: Annual White Mass for health care professionals and caregivers at 10 a.m. Sunday at Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 122 Ash St. Reception in the church hall will follow. The Rev. Joseph Manship, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center chaplain, will be celebrant and give the homily.
