In his letter, published Jan. 8, Joseph Mailey wrote that he was proud to be a liberal. He should be reminded that his party, unlike the Founding Fathers’ God-given principles, is charmingly pushing God out of the picture and replacing it with every thing allowable, then acceptable.

The Pledge of Allegiance, adopted by Congress in 1942, clearly states, “… and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God …”

Liberalism, along with the president, are changing moralism into socialism and paganism. Imagine a man who taught constitutional law, now eagerly making up his own laws, adhering to those he wishes.

Obama aligns himself with ACORN and people such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, who both hated America, yet Barack Obama chose to start his campaign in Ayers’ home.

Obama had a chip on his shoulder. His books contain the roots of his rage.

The deliberate, hypocritical, secretive dragging of the supposed investigations and cover-ups on Obamacare (rushed through without being read), Fast and Furious, the Department of Justice, the IRS, TSA and Benghazi were, indeed, deceitful. Where were accountability and justice?

He promised he would have the most transparent administration. He has lapses of memory, except for photo-op time.

I imagine him receiving the title of “Liar of the Year.”

If the media had been truthful, Obama could have been impeached.

Some shameful, applicable D’s would then be: destructive, dictatorial, dishonest and dysfunctional.

After being a Democrat for 50 years, six years ago I saw what was happening within the party and changed.
