1969 – 2014

TURNER — Michael J. Spaulding, 44, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

Mike was born in Lewiston on Dec. 22, 1969, and attended schools in Turner. He loved drag racing his motorcycle and muscle cars. He also loved snowmobiling and riding his four-wheeler; he had a great need for speed.

Michael is survived by his mother, Laura Carver and her husband, John Sr., of Turner; his father, Ronald Spaulding Sr., of North Walpole, N.H.; a brother, Ronald Spaulding Jr., of Rumford; a sister, Myrna Conrod of Lewiston; stepsisters, Carol Cote and husband, Ron, of New Gloucester and Donna Cote and husband, Tom, of Mechanic Falls; stepbrothers, John Carver Jr. and wife, Terry, of Minot and Jim Carver and wife, Sue, of Minot; and many special nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anona, who passed away in October.
