LEWISTON — The Franco Center has announced its decision to postpone this month’s La Rencontre originally scheduled for Thursday, due to a messy winter storm expected to hit the region this week.
The new date is Thursday, Feb. 20. The menu and entertainment will remain the same – a main course of chicken pot pie from KFC, with music from the local trio of Lorraine Ouellette, Gerry Dube and Adrien Leclair following the meal.
Those who had made reservations for this Thursday are asked to re-confirm their intent to attend on Feb. 20 by calling 207-783-1585 between noon and 4 p.m. on any weekday. The new deadline for reservations is 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17.
