AUGUSTA (AP) — Gas prices in Maine are holding steady.
Price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com reports Monday that the average retail cost of a gallon of gas in Maine is $3.47, the same as last week.
Per-gallon prices in Maine remain 19 cents above the national average.
In-state prices are now almost 6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and more than 29 cents lower than at the same time last year.
The prices are based on a survey of more than 1,200 Maine gas stations.
