- Church member Corinne Dye pours coffee for Robert Alexander of Farmington and Caroline Smith of East Dixfield at the Loaves and Fishes fish chowder luncheon at Trinity United Methodist Church in Farmington on Wednesday. From January through March, an average of 70 diners per week come for the free meal, organizer Joan Farrington said. The meal is canceled if schools are closed. Donations are accepted for the Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry’s ECU HEAT, a fuel assistance program, Farrington said.
