FARMINGTON — A New Sharon man is facing charges of furnishing four juveniles with marijuana, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said in a news release.

Maine State Police arrested Charles Ross, 34, on Wednesday on a warrant issued by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Nichols said. The warrant resulted from an investigation by Deputy Nick Zecher, who received a complaint that Ross furnished marijuana to an underage female, he said.

Zecher issued Ross a summons charging aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs. He is scheduled to appear in court March 12, Nichols said.

Zecher learned that three other juveniles admitted receiving marijuana from Ross. A warrant was issued for one felony charge of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and two felony charges of aggravated furnishing scheduled drugs, Nichols said.

Ross was released Thursday from the Franklin County Detention Center on $200 cash bail.
