MAINE — In the upcoming weeks, over 2,500 Maine high school students from 79 high schools will compete in the 83rd annual Maine Drama Festival. The annual event is sponsored by the Maine Principals’Association and the Maine Drama Council.
On March 7 and 8, at nine regional competitions around the State, schools will present plays ranging from the classics to original student-written plays. Winners from each regional will be selected by a panel of judges to advance to the State Finals on March 21-22.
