Because the need has increased, donations are appreciated
LISBON — The Lisbon Area Christian Outreach runs a food pantry and clothing bank at the MTM Center in Lisbon Falls.
LACO serves people from Lisbon, Durham and Bowdoin.
LACO Food Pantry has served 417 families this year for a total of 10,695 individuals who have received a week’s worth of food.
The average number of families served in a month is 292, with 220 new families signed up this year.
Because the need has increased, donations are appreciated.
Families must show photo identification and a current bill with their address to be served by the food pantry.
Anyone may use the clothing bank if they are in need.
