HARRISBURG, Pa. — State police in Pennsylvania say they have narrowed down the description of a vehicle being sought in the apparent road-rage slaying of a Maine man in south-central Pennsylvania last month.
Police said Wednesday that paint evidence prompts them to search for a 1993-97 dark lapis blue Ford Ranger pickup, which may appear black depending on lighting and probably has damage on the driver’s side.
Lt. Adam Kosheba of the Harrisburg barracks said repair shops and insurance agents should report any such vehicles with similar damage.
Police say 28-year-old Timothy Davison was driving home to Poland on Interstate 81 on Jan. 4 when he was shot to death a few miles north of the Maryland line. He had called 911 to report that another driver was shooting at him.
