A federal judge sentenced a 19-year-old Lewiston man to two years in prison for robbing a pharmacy last year in Augusta.

Prosecutors said Anthony W. Post entered a CVS pharmacy on Jan. 22, 2013 wearing sunglasses, his face hidden by a scarf. He presented a note to a clerk at the pharmacy counter that demanded oxycodone. The note said he had a gun and would shoot if his demand wasn’t met, according to court records.

Two women waited in a car for Post to return from the store. One of the women, Stephanie McCormick, had planned the robbery and authored the note, court records said.

She was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Bangor in December to three years and 10 months in prison plus three years of supervised release and a $1,000 fine. The getaway driver, Candace Eaton, took a share of the stolen pills, court records said. She was sentenced last year to 1 ½ years in prison, plus three years of supervised release for being an accessory after the fact to the pharmacy robbery. She also was fined $5,000 and ordered to pay restitution.

Post, who pleaded guilty to the robbery in March, also was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Bangor to three years of supervised release following his prison term. He was ordered to pay restitution of $1,587.51.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Augusta Police Department investigated the case.
