RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances M. Miller of Rumford was celebrated at noon, Saturday, Feb. 22, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Mark Belanger. Special music as a prelude was “Danny Boy” which was sung by the Bulger family including Lois Bulger Costa, Jean Bulger Smith, Joel Bulger, Bob Bulger and guitarists Jim and Eddie Bulger. Music selections included, “Hosea,” and “Fly Like a Bird,” “Ave Maria” was sung by Cindy Clark Bulger. Postlude music “Be Not Afraid” was sung by the Bulger family. Readings were pronounced by grandson Kyle McGuan, who read from Old Testament from the Book of Wisdom. Nephew Bob Bulger read from the New Testament from 2nd Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians. Prayers of the faithful were pronounced by the Rev. Greg Dube. Gifts were presented by the grandchildren, Kyle and Erin McGuan, Megan McBreairty, and Ian, Kera, Nathan, Seth, Christine and Patrick Miller. Eulogy was presented by grandson, Ian Miller. Interment in the spring will be conducted at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at the Parish Hall of the church and served by the Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, ME 04276.
