MERRIMACK, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police say charges have been upgraded against a Nashua man accused of causing a three-vehicle crash that killed his 14-year-old son.
Thirty-seven-year-old Nghia Huynh initially was charged with felony drunken driving after the crash on the Everett Turnpike Friday night. On Monday, he was arraigned on a negligent homicide charge as well and was ordered held on $50,000 bail.
Kobe Huynh was a seventh-grader at Auburn Middle School, where he recently was made an honorary member of the Bates College baseball team through a program for children with terminal illnesses.
It was not immediately known if Huynh is being represented by a lawyer. A probable cause hearing is set for March 3.
