AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library has announced the March schedule of Teen Programs. Programs are for teens 12-18 unless otherwise specified.

Teens! Homework Help, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-4 p.m. in the Teen Space. For students in grades 6-12.

Teen Parent Support Group, Monday, March 3, 6:30-7:30 p.m. The Teen Parent Support Group is for teen moms and dads who would like some support and information about the challenges and successes of young men and women who have become parents during their teen years. This group is open to any teen parent between the ages of 13 and 19, and meets the first Monday of each month. Childcare will be provided. Attendees will convene in the Children’s Room and then find a quiet spot to chat. For more information, call 333-6640, ext. 4.

Teen Anime Club, Wednesday, March 5, 4-5 p.m.  in the Androscoggin Community Room. Teens, ages 12-18, can drop in to talk about their favorite (or least favorite) manga, watch this week’s selection of anime and try their hand at drawing characters.

Teen Life Skills Series: Are You Hiring?, Thursday, March 6, 3-4 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. Lisa Hartnett of the Career Center will be here to talk about how to look and apply for a job.

Teens! Friday Stress Reliever, Friday, March 7, 3:30-5 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. In honor of March Madness, come watch “Hoosiers,” a movie about a small-town basketball team’s run for the Indiana State championship.

Teen Tech Week: DIY @ Your Library, Monday-Friday, March 10-14, 4-5 p.m. An activity will be held each day this week, in honor of Teen Tech Week. Monday will feature a Green Screen Workshop in the CREATE! Media Lab; Tuesday, stop by for an App Chat to share your favorites; Wednesday will feature the usual Gaming Hour in the Androscoggin Community Room; Thursday, participants will be making shoebox projectors; and on Friday, join us in the CREATE! Media Lab to talk books and look at making book trailers.

Teens! Safe Voices, Thursday, March 13, 3-4 p.m. Amanda from Safe Voices will visit the Teen Space to chat about relationships and work on projects.

Teen Life Skills Series: 3rd annual Teen Opportunities Fair, Saturday, March 15, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewiston Public Library. Looking for an internship or volunteer opportunity? Not sure if you should be taking classes or enrolling in college? Trying to apply for a job online but have no idea where to start? There will be food and door prizes. For teens, ages 13-19.

DIY Teens! Takeover, Wednesday, March 19, 4-5 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. Every month features a new project from duct tape art to photography, create-your-own video games or make-your-own magnetic poetry. This month, the library is partnering with the Good Shepherd Food-Bank to help make centerpieces for their 2014 Annual Dinner. Call 333-6640, ext. 4, to sign up and come make a tin can luminary. Registration request to ensure enough supplies.

Teen Life Skills Series: Interviewing Etiquette, Thursday, March 20, 3 to 4 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. Lisa Hartnett from the Career Center will share tips and advice on the interview process and how to interview for a job with confidence.

DIY Teens! Writer’s Group, Friday, March 21, 4-5 p.m. in Study Room 223. If you like to write and share what you’ve written, this group is for you.

DIY Teens! Media Club, Wednesday, March 26, 4-5 p.m. in the CREATE! Media Lab. Movies! Music! Graphic arts! If you can imagine it, you can create it in our Media Lab. Make trailers, podcasts and more that the library will post on its website.

Teens! SACC Visit, Thursday, March 27, 3-4 p.m. in the Teen Space. Molly from the Sexual Assault Crisis Center will drop by the Teen Space for crafts, games and good conversations.

APL Teens: Teen Advisory Board, Friday, March 28, 4-5 p.m. in the Conference Room. What do you want at the Library? Do you have ideas about what books we should have? What types of programs should we offer? And how should we decorate and use the Teen Space? If you have ideas, TAB is for you.
