Supper to be followed by concert

TURNER — A baked bean supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the First Universalist Church of Turner Center. The meal will include all the fixings and desserts.

The dinner will be hosted by the church, the Ladies Circle and the circle of people supporting their community and church together.

The supper will coincide with the first Cabin Fever Concert, which will be held downstairs on the stage, cabaret-style. Donations will be accepted and will be used to purchase musical instruments for students, who otherwise could not participate in the music program at SAD 52.

Dart league to hold tourney, banquet

AUBURN — Central Maine Dart League will hold a banquet and first awards ceremony and benefit dart tournament on Sunday, March 2, at the New Auburn Social Club.

The awards ceremony will take place from noon to 1 p.m. followed by the banquet from 1 to 2 p.m.

A Benefit Dart Tournament, to raise funds for sexual assault prevention and response services, will begin at 3 p.m. Registration will take place from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $10.

LEWISTON — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free workshops, “Essentials of College Planning,” for adults 19 and over at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way, on Wednesdays, March 5 ad 19 at 10 a.m.
