1935 – 2014

INVERNESS, Fla. — Ethel A. Pray, 78, formerly of South Paris, passed away peacefully at her home in Inverness, Fla., on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Born Aug. 9, 1935, in North Paris, she was the daughter of the late Milford and Madelyn (Gibbs) Herrick. On Feb. 5, 1954, Ethel married Russell Pray in Mechanic Falls, where they raised their five children. They later moved to South Paris. She retired from General Electric after 22 years.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Russell, of Inverness, Fla.; children and spouses, Dale and Jane of Inverness, Fla., Julie and Kent Boston of Poland, Joline and Dennis Paladino of Norway, Dana and Carolyn of Norway and Dean and Kim of Oxford; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and spouses, James and Donna Herrick of Pahrump, Nev., and Richard and Debra Herrick of Oxford; and a brother-in-law, Bill Stevens, of West Paris.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Herrick; and sisters, Ruth Pray and Freda Stevens.
