1958 – 2014

AUBURN — Janet “May” St. Pierre, 55, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving husband and daughter on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Auburn.

Janet was born to the late Wheeler and Olive Tripp. She graduated from Lewiston High School and later married the love of her life, Louis St. Pierre.

Janet was employed at Clover Manor, where she met lots of special friends, including her best friend, Linda Bourgoin. She loved spending time with her family, and spending Friday and Saturday nights with her husband; her sister, Linda; and brother-in-law, Ronnie. Janet was known for the delicious banana bread she baked.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Louis St. Pierre; daughter, Donna Woodbury and husband, Jacob Woodbury; son, Gregory St. Pierre, all of Lewiston; her pride and joy grandchildren, Brent Freve, Ashley Freve and significant other, Eddie Chan, Brooke Lovering and a sweet girl she called her granddaughter, Emme Tanguay, all of Lewiston; brothers, Gary and wife, Betty, of Auburn, as well as Colby and wife, Darlene, and Dale Tripp, all of Lewiston; and sisters, Linda and husband, Ronnie, of Auburn, Joyce and husband, Eddie, of Lewiston and Valerie and significant other, Fern, of Mechanic Falls.

The family would like to thank the Hospice House for the exceptional care they gave Janet in her last days. Also, Dr. Rausch and staff for being so caring.
