LEWISTON — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring Geraldine D. Ouellette was celebrated by the Rev. Aaron Dambois Friday morning at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. During Mass, Geraldine’s granddaughter, Jill St.Laurent, proclaimed a reading from the New Testament. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by Geraldine’s granddaughter, Mikaela St. Laurent. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by both Jill and Mikaela St. Laurent. Before the end of Mass, Geraldine’s daughter, Doreen shared words of remembrance about her mom with those in attendance. At the conclusion of Mass after the recessional, the Ouellette family formed a receiving line in the back of church to accept personal condolences from family and friends that were in attendance. Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Dambois recited committal prayers to conclude services. The urn bearers were Kade and Cole Ouellette as well as Zack Rodrigue and Nathan St. Laurent. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
