Two teammates and two state champion are among the finalists for the Mr. and Miss Maine Basketball awards, which were announced Monday.
Hampden Academy teammates Isaiah Bess and Zach Gilpin are finalists for Mr. Basketball, along with Dustin Cole of Bonny Eagle.
Allie Clement, a member of Class A champion Catherian McAuley, and Tiana-Jo Carter of Class B champion Lake Region join Van Buren’s Parise Rossignol as Miss Basketball finalists.
The winners will be announced on March 7 at the annual Maine McDonald’s All-Star banquet at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
