1939 – 2014

SOUTH PARIS — Normand C. Lepage, 75, of Pine Street in South Paris, died peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 19, 1939, a son of the late Joseph Gerard and Mary Elizabeth (Gagnon) Lepage. Normand proudly served in the U.S. Marines in his youth and enjoyed a life-long career as a truck driver, retiring several years ago.

Normand married Nancy Sprague in 1964, and they had two daughters, Tammy and Tina, divorcing in 1968. In 1969, Normand married Joanne (McKinnley) Curtis, and was a loving stepfather to two children, Kevin and Karen.

His smile, humor and warmth will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his three daughters and one son, Tammy Lepage of Morrisville, N.C., Tina Lepage Tsirigotis of Chapel Hill, N.C., Kevin Curtis of South Paris, and Karen (Curtis Bennett) Davis of Rumford;  three grandchildren, Page Tsirigotis of Chapel Hill, N.C., Jeffrey Bennett of Leeds, and Jennifer Bennett of Buckfield; two great-grandchildren, Colby Belanger of Buckfield and Logan Bennett of Leeds; brother, Ralph Lepage of Montreal, Quebec; and wife, Joanne Lepage of South Paris.

Sincere gratitude goes to the workers at hospice in Auburn for the care they gave Normand in the last week of his life.

No funeral will be held but a mass will be sung in Normand’s memory at his brother Ralph’s parish, Saint-Zotique Church in Montreal, Quebec; and the children will have a private celebration of Normand’s life the next time they are all together.
