Free community luncheon March 8

FARMINGTON — A free community luncheon will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Old South First Congregational Church, 227 Main St.

The menu consists of meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and cookies.

For delivery in the Farmington area, call the church office during the week at 778-0424 or the kitchen on the morning of the luncheon at 778-4438.

Public supper at Trinity United

FARMINGTON — A public supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Trinity United Methodist Church.

The meal will be a baked beans casserole supper, with vegetarian, gluten-free and sugar-free items.

The new price will be $7 adults, children under 12 $3.50.

Benefit supper for Diane Lefever

FAYETTE — There will be a benefit supper for Fayette resident Diane Lefever from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Fayette Central School.

Menu will include beans, casseroles, salads, desserts and drinks. The price is $6 for adults and $3 for children. There will be several silent auction and raffle items.

Emmanuel plans free lunch

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will hold a free Community Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave.

All ages are welcome. For transportation, call 491-3708.

The lunches are held on the second Saturday of each month.

St. Patrick’s Day pancake breakfast

WILTON — Wilton Democrats will host the 42nd annual Franklin County St. Patrick’s Day pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Wilson Grange, 1338 Main St.

Cost is $6 adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Menu includes pancakes with maple syrup and blueberry sauce, sausage, juice, coffee and tea.

NEW SHARON — A public supper will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Franklin Masonic Lodge of New Sharon.

Menu will be beef tips served with rice, potato, vegetables, rolls and homemade pie. Take out available.

Benefit bake sale, quilt raffle

CHESTERVILLE — The North Chesterville Extension Homemakers will provide a bake sale and quilt raffle of a lap quilt done in a crazy quilt pattern for the benefit of the Chesterville Town Kitchen Fund.

This event will take place on Monday, March 10, starting at 9 a.m. It will coincide with voting at the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road and will last until the food runs out.
