LEWISTON/AUBURN — Free walk-in Affordable Care Act enrollment assistance is being offered in Lewiston/Auburn ahead of the March 31 deadline.

Horn of Africa Aid and Rehabilitation Action Network and Community Concepts are partnering with Maine Health Access Foundation to spread the word in the Lewiston/Auburn communities about the Affordable Care Act and enroll207.com, Maine’s guide to the health insurance marketplace.

The following walk-in events are open to everyone living in Maine who is wondering what Affordable Healthcare could mean for them. Staff will be available to provide one-on-one assistance for answering any questions, providing information, comparing plans and enrolling people in qualified health plans via the marketplace.

March 6, 4 to 7 p.m., Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St.

March 10, 4:30 to 7 p.m., Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.

March 11, 2 to 8 p.m., Community Concepts, 240 Bates St., Lewiston.

March 13, 4 to 7 p.m., Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St.

March 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lewiston Library, 200 Lisbon St.

Every Monday from March 3-31, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Community Concepts, 240 Bates St., Lewiston.

Open enrollment is available until March 31.

Those wishing to compare plans or enroll should bring the following documents: Social Security numbers of everyone who will be on the plan; income information, such as a recent W-2 or pay stub; and information about any current health insurance, including the health policy number.
