WILTON — Three hours of music and a full-course Italian buffet will highlight the 3rd Annual Dinner Cabaret at Calzolaio Pasta Co. on Saturday.

It will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. March 8 and is sponsored by the Mt. Blue Music Boosters. Musical entertainment will be provided by Graybert and Karen Beacham of Farmington, fiddlers Silas and Nolan Rogers of Wilton and The Achords, including Mike Fraley and Brent Laflin who provide a variety of folk, rock and bluegrass music.

Dessert will be served with the meal and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $25 and are available at Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers and the Wilton Free Public Library.

The cabaret raises money for Mt. Blue Music Boosters programs, member Debbie Seeley said. The boosters are parents of children in any musical program in RSU 9.

Programs include scholarships for students in grades four through 11 to attend summer music camps or take private lessons during the summer.

In addition to the scholarship program, the group helps when a teacher needs a certain piece of equipment or an elementary student needs help to purchase an instrument, supports Summer Children’s Theater and helps with costs for all-state music candidates from the district, according to music teacher Carol Shumway.
