NORWAY — The Maine Conservation Corps recently welcomed Laura Crossley of Norway to serve as an environmental steward and AmeriCorps volunteer for a 45-week, 1,700-hour term of national service.

Crossley is the daughter of Norman and Pam Crossley of Lisbon, Iowa.

She is a 1995 graduate of Solon High School, a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BA in Spanish and anthropology, and a 2013 graduate of Tufts University with a MA in urban and environmental policy and planning.

The MCC conducts conservation projects throughout the state, including extensive recreational trail construction and rehabilitation.
