OXFORD — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer its Babysitting 101 training program for girls in grades 5-9 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in the Oxford Hills area.
This training program is for any girls who are interested in becoming babysitters in the future or to enhance existing babysitting skills and knowledge.
The program will include: getting your baby-sitting business started, playtime ideas for children of all ages, understanding the likes and dislikes of children, troubleshooting and solutions to the most common problems a baby-sitter faces and Babysitting 101 certification.
The cost of the program is $6. There is an additional $15 membership fee for non-Girl Scouts. Membership assistance is available.
Space is limited. Preregistration along with payment is necessary by March 19.
