1930 – 2014

AUBURN — Laurent C. Lacoste, 83, of 38 Adams Road, Greene, died Sunday, March 2, at the Hospice House in Auburn.

Born on Nov. 30, 1930, in Ste. Agathe, P.Q., Canada, the son of Archille and Eva Tanguay Lacoste. On May 21, 1949, he married the former Anita Grondin, who passed way on Feb. 23, 2010. Larry worked as a salesman for the Fuller Brush Company for over 25 years and then owned and managed rental properties in Lewiston and Sabattus. A 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, he also belonged to Our Lady of the Rosary Church and for many years was active in the Lewiston Landlord Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Joline Lacoste of Greene; a brother, Guy and wife, Pauline Lacoste, of Rockland; a sister, Georgette Painchaud of Binghamton, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Jeff Doucette and partner, Brian Currie, Craig Doucette and wife, Kim, Megan Vanover and partner, Tim Brown, James Vanover and Nicole Vanover; and four great-grandchildren, Camdyn, Carter, Jackson and Grace Doucette.
