LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating a break-in at an upper Park Street home that was reported Wednesday.

A brick was thrown through a window in a back door to gain entry, damaging a wall, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Thursday.

The break-in was believed to have happened within the past three weeks while the homeowners were away. There were tire tracks in the driveway that had been covered with snow, Steward said.

At this point, it doesn’t appear anything was taken, he said. Damage is estimated to be $200.
