OXFORD — SAD 17 Superintendent Rick Colpitts announced at Monday’s Board of Directors meeting that Assistant Facilities Director Nelson Baillargeon has been appointed interim facilities director.
Colpitts said Baillargeon’s experience made him the logical choice.
Longtime Facilities Director David Marshall tendered his resignation Jan. 29, effective Feb. 28. Interviews for the position are expected to take place at the end of March.
Colpitts said three finalists will be interviewed. The superintendent will bring his recommendation to the April 7 board meeting.
The district is also interviewing for two principals. Rowe Elementary School School Principal George “Beaux” Sincerbeaux, who is retiring, and Oxford and Otisfield elementary schools Principal Kim Ramharter are leaving at the end of the school year. Interviews for their positions get underway next week.
