1962 – 2014

LEWISTON — Kevin D. Ledoux, 52, of Turner, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1962, in Nashua, N.H., the son of Edward J. and the late Rachel A. (Cadorette) Ledoux. Kevin spent most of his life living with his parents in New Hampshire, before moving with them to Turner in 1998. He attended school in Amherst, N.H., and Milford, N.H., and went on to be part of the Souhegan Valley Association for the Handicapped, where he worked diligently and excelled at providing service to others.

He was an active participant in the Special Olympics while in New Hampshire, taking many medals in track and field and swimming. Both he and his family were proud of his many achievements. Later in life, he assisted in the care of his brother, Douglas, and became a part of the St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion community, attending social and special events.

Kevin’s special personality and positive attitude won people over wherever he went. He loved life to its fullest, always thinking the best about people. He had a gift for making people smile. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and was closely connected to his godparents, Uncle Donald and Aunt Claire.

Kevin is survived by his father, Edward, of Turner; his brother, Daniel and his wife, Debra, of Bennington, N.H.; his brother, Douglas, of Lewiston; his brother, Keith and his wife, Sue, of Merrimack, N.H.; his sister, Deborah Ledoux-Randlett and her husband, Mark, of Turner; and his many nieces and nephews.
