LEWISTON — Amazing Lou will present a “March Magic Show” at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Avenue.

Lewis Ward, a.k.a. Amazing Lou, began his magic career after inheriting his father’s professional magic props and supplies. He was “bit by the magic bug” and discovered the joy of making someone guess “How’d you do that?” He joined a local magic club, S.A.M. 174, and became a national member of The Society of American Magicians.

Ward became particularly interested in dove magic, studied from many dove manipulators, and developed his own dove routine.

A highlight of the event will be a bicycle drawing, and food will be sold at the concession stand. Proceeds will benefit the Lewiston Senior Citizens Program/activities.

Doors will open at noon. Tickets are $5 for ages 13 and older and $3 for ages 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased by calling either 207-513-3059 or 207-513-3005. Tickets will also be available at the door.
