LIMINGTON — A woman died Monday morning in a fire in Limington.
The State Fire Marshal’s office confirmed that a woman, who lived in a farmhouse on North Road near the intersection of Route 25, died in the fire. The home was destroyed.
According to a release from Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, the fire was discovered by the woman’s husband when he returned home from work at approximately 5:30 a.m. Monday.
The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
