AUGUSTA (AP) — A government survey says the average price of Maine heating oil has fallen 2 cents to $3.84 per gallon.
The Governor’s Heating Office said Wednesday that its weekly heating fuel survey also shows that the price of propone last week dropped 3 cents to an average of $3.49 per gallon. That is the lowest price for propane since the heating season began in October.
Statewide the survey found a range of heating oil prices of $4.20 to $3.55 per gallon. It also found that the average price for kerosene decreased in cost 2 cents to $4.30 per gallon.
