1918 – 2014

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Ramona P. Verreault, 95, formerly of Lewiston, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in Clearwater, Fla., with her niece, Dale Ebert, at her side.

She was born in Lewiston on March 25, 1918, the daughter of Raymond and Adrienne Gagne Poulin. Educated locally, she was employed for many years as a sales clerk at Ward Bros in Lewiston. She was married to Leo U. Verreault, who died in 1982. Ramona enjoyed shopping, going to Rolandeau’s for lunch with her friends and watching the Boston Celtics on TV.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lorraine Poulin of Lewiston; two nieces, Dale and husband, Curtis Ebert, of Clearwater, Fla., and Judith and husband, Timothy Donnelly, of Cumberland; three nephews, Marc Poulin and wife, Theresa, of Lowell, Mass., Keith Poulin and wife, Kristen of Byfield, Mass., and Jack Poulin of Los Angeles, Calif.; several great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Leo; a sister, Frances Hamilton; and a brother, Noel Poulin.
