LEWISTON — Wayne R. “Southie” Bassett, 51, formerly of Brockton, Mass., died unexpectedly on Friday, March 7, at home, with loved ones in his heart and with him.
He was well known as a great chef and talker. Wayne loved life and looked for the best in everyone. He will be missed deeply.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Charity Bartlett of Lewiston; his children, Dolores and Gracie Bassett and Dominick, Chelsea and Christian, from Maine and Massachusetts; and a brother and sisters in Massachusetts.
