AUBURN — Announcement is made of the engagement of Pamela S. Giasson and Thomas J. Lynch IV of the Back Bay neighborhood in Boston.

Miss Giasson is the daughter of Katherine Giasson of Auburn and the late Jim Giasson who passed away in 1998. She received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is quality engineering manager at Ogin Energy.

Mr. Lynch is the son of Tom Lynch III and Marjorie Lynch of Westminster, Mass. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and entrepreneurship from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is manager at Workforce Management Applications at Accu-Time Systems.

The couple is planning a June 28 wedding at Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg.
