1932 – 2014

LEWISTON — Juliette L. Cote, 81, of Lewiston, died Friday, March 14,  at d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness with her husband at her side.

Born in Auburn on Nov. 27, 1932, the daughter of Arthur and Yvette (Vincent) Labbe.

She attended Lewiston schools. On June 26, 1954, she married Fernand J. Cote, who survives her of Lewiston.

Juliette had worked in the local shoe factories and prior to her retirement, she worked for many years at L.L. Bean.

She enjoyed baking especially muffins, socializing with family and friends and she was a member of the Pastime Club.

She is survived by her husband; a sister, Muriel and her husband, Marcel Bureau, of Auburn; a brother, Richard Labbe and wife, Therese, of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Labbe; two godsons, David Bureau and David Cote; three nieces; eight nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Marcel Labbe.

The family would like to thank the staff on 3 East at d’Youville Pavilion for their loving care of Juliette.
