BRUNSWICK — The Institute for Family-Owned Business announces its Family Business Forum, to be held on March 28 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. The forum, open to the public at no charge, begins with registration and networking at 7:30 a.m. in the Daggett Lounge of Bowdoin’s Thorne Hall.

Featured speaker Sen. Angus King will give a talk beginning at 9 a.m., followed by three panelists who will talk about their organizations and how they impact family-owned businesses. A question and answer session follows each. Panel moderator is Derek Volk, president of Volk Packaging Corporation in Biddeford. Panelists are Virginia Manuel, state director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development in Maine; Mark Delisle, state director, Maine Small Business Development Centers; and Sarah Guerette, program director and business counselor, Southern Maine Women’s Business Center.
