Tibbetts to make final series presentation
PARIS — Cindy Tibbetts will make the final presentation at the McLaughlin Garden and Homestead 2014 lecture series at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 2.
It will be the third time Tibbetts has participated in the lecture series, presenting a different topic each time. This year she will discuss “Not Your Grandmother’s Geraniums.”
Tibbetts’ nursery, Hummingbird Farm in North Turner, specializes in clematis, herbs and geraniums.
The lecture is open to the public. No prior reservations are needed. Donations will be accepted to further the maintenance of Bernard McLaughlin’s historic garden and the property’s buildings.
The presentation will be held at the garden’s newest acquisition, 103 Main St., next door to the garden. Tea will be served prior to the talk. The gift shop in the Tribou house will offer discounts for people attending the lectures.
