1946 – 2014

GREENWOOD — Charles A. Lowe, 67, of Greenwood, passed away at home on Friday, March 28, after a struggle with cancer.

Born in Norway on Dec. 14, 1946, he was a son of the late Wilfred Lowe of Bryant Pond and the late Phyllis Lowe of West Paris. He was a 1966 graduate of West Paris High School.

Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served honorably in Germany and Vietnam. He was employed by the Maine Department of Transportation and retired after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Fran; daughter, Bethany and her mother, Carolyn; grandson, Ayden; sisters, Janice, Gloria and Karen; brothers, Allen, Paul and Duane; and several nieces and nephews.
