Music Sunday at First U

PARIS — The sounds of music will fill the First Universalist Church, Pine Street on April 6 with a Music Sunday. Marilyn Hammond and Sharon Bouchard will facilitate the 10 a.m. worship service.

There will be a favorite hymn request time where the congregation gets to request their favorite hymns as well as other special music. Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales.

Coffee and fellowship will follow and all are welcome. Childcare is available and The First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.

Church holding play on resurrection

DIXFIELD — Dixfield Common Baptist Church will host a play on “Resurrection, your questions answered” at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

A supper will be held prior to the play at 5 p.m. For reservations, call 562-7470.

Church pantry requests items

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church is requesting the following items that are needed on a weekly basis at the High Street Food Pantry: peanut butter, toilet paper and pasta sauce.

Items can be dropped off at the church office at 439 Park Ave.

Church forming team for MS walk

AUBURN — The United Methodist Church of Auburn will again be participating in the annual Multiple Sclerosis walk scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12.

This is a 5-mile walk (shorter if you like) beginning and ending at Lewiston High School. Walkers can contact the church office at 782-3972 for additional information. Donations can be made directly online at www.walkmsgne.org, team Humason/Akers.
