TURNER — Selectman Ralph Caldwell was re-elected for a three-year term during balloting Friday.

Elizabeth Bullard was chosen for RSU 52 director and Megan Ricker as a Budget Committee member.

More than 90 voters attended the annual town meeting Saturday at Leavitt Area High School. Town Clerk Rebecca Allaire said action on the 52-article warrant was swift.

The town adopted the following: amended Floodplain Management Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, amended Zoning Ordinance and amended Street Construction Ordinance.

Voters appropriated $20,000 for Solid Waste Reserve, instead of $25,000 recommended by selectmen and Budget Committee.

They rejected $2,500 for the unemployment fund and $2,000 for the Historic Building Reserve Account.

They approved $25,000 for the Fire Equipment Reserve, instead of the $50,000 recommended in the article.
