LIVERMORE FALLS — The Memorial Day Committee for the area will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the George Bunten Post 10 American Legion Hall on Reynolds Avenue.
All area residents are invited to attend and help plan Memorial Day activities and place flags on veterans’ graves.
Groups, such as church, veterans, scouts, 4-H, school, or businesses who would like to be a part of the program and parade, are also invited to attend.

The committee has received a donation of $500 from Bailey Brothers Inc., a Ford dealership in Livermore Falls, plus some individual donations to help pay for the liability insurance for the parade. The committee has also received a couple of offers to help pay for the remaining amount not raised.
