LEWISTON — A 61-year-old local man died Saturday from suicide near the intersection of Sabattus Street and Old Greene Road.

Police investigated the death after a passer-by discovered the man’s body shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. Investigators cordoned off the area with yellow tape and erected a tent in the rain.
