PORTLAND (AP) — Law enforcement officials say a fire that killed a woman in Chester, Maine, started in the living room of her mobile home.
The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire killed 77-year-old Shirley Day on Thursday. Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Investigators say Day’s grandson, who lives with Day, discovered the fire when he returned from an errand at about 10 a.m. on Thursday.
