LISBON — A Bath man was arrested Friday following a two-day manhunt, police said Saturday.
Patrick Ridley, 28, whose last known address was on Washington Street in Bath, was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and misuse of a public benefit instrument.
More charges are expected pending further investigation by Lisbon and Brunswick police.
Both police departments as well as the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Canine Team were seeking Ridley at the time he was caught while fleeing on foot on Franklin Street in Brunswick.
A short dog track led to Ridley, who was discovered hiding in a backyard.
Police had been looking for Ridley after a domestic violence incident, police said.
He was taken to Cumberland County Jail in Portland after he was denied bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 17 in Cumberland County Superior Court in Portland.
